Lemons Dental will send you a statement if there is a balance on your account. After the insurance company has paid their portion, any remaining balance is your responsibility and your prompt remittance is greatly appreciated.
As a service to our patients, our practice accepts most dental insurance programs, including non-managed care, indemnity (traditional), Cigna PPO, and Delta Dental Premier. The fees charged for services rendered to those who are insured are the usual and customary fees charged to all our patients for similar services.
Please understand that your dental insurance is a form of compensation provided to you by your employer or is an arrangement you have purchased privately. The insurance company provides us with an estimate of coverage at the time services are rendered, and once we submit these services to the insurance company they may decide to compensate us at a rate different than they originally estimated. Because the insurance is a contract between you and your insurance company, any balance not covered by your insurance is ultimately your responsibility.
Here at Lemons Dental, we want to help you receive the maximum reimbursement to which you are entitled. As a convenience to you, we will help you process your insurance claims in order for you to receive this benefit. We will also gladly provide dental x-rays and a written diagnostic report should your insurance company have any questions about the services provided.
For patients who require more extensive treatment, we will go out of our way to work with you. The last thing we want is for a patient not to have the necessary dental work completed because of financial reasons. We offer third party financing to help patients obtain their dental treatment.
Some patients require their payments to be spread out over a longer period of time, such as 12 months or more. In those situations, we offer an arrangement through Care Credit, a third-party service that offers interest-free options that will allow you to take care of your balance following a time schedule of your choice.
